Optimum Transition is a program designed by XF Enterprises, Inc., the leader in feedyard and range nutrition, to bring the various segments of the beef production industry together.

The major component of Optimum Transition is our Cattle Listing Service, designed to connect cow/calf producers, pre-conditioners, stocker/backgrounders and feedyards through a web-based system.

Sustainability and profitability are key to each phase of the industry, but the segmentation and isolation of the various production stages mentioned above make it difficult to easily and efficiently transfer information up and down through this chain of production.

Vertical integration is very difficult in our industry because of the independent nature of those involved. However, the development of relationships within the production chain and between segments has been proven to strengthen everyone’s position within this production system.

Optimum Transition’s goal is to aid in the development of these relationships so that no matter the size of the producer, they are able to capitalize on the benefits associated with the buying and selling of cattle with known and documented production practices.
